Greetings from Bainbridge Island, Washington -
If we have not yet met, I'm Michael Najarian, perhaps best known as the person that did not write, Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus. As President of Personal Growth Productions, I worked behind the scenes to help the world discover new ways of looking at relationships and communication. Most of the world came to know me as MarsMan, the host of Mars/Venus Radio. The show began quietly in Phoenix, Arizona and was eventually sold into national syndication and a worldwide internet broadcast. For five hours a day, five days a week, I had the pleasure of speaking with and learning from people just like you all over the planet.
I'm now living with my family on a small Island about 30 minutes by ferry from Seattle. Although we miss the unique beauty of the desert, we are very happy in our new and quite different environment. I will always feel like Santa Cruz, California is home. I became acquainted with Santa Cruz while attending San Jose State University where I studied Political Science and Philosophy earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. While I was going to school, I opened up a chain of travel agencies and enjoyed the opportunity to work and wander all over the world.
Eventually, I went back to school to study Psychology and Counseling, (that's the Master's Degree), and became known as an expert in Relationships and Communication. I was not, however, spending enough time with my family and we moved to the Pacific Northwest to slow things down. It worked! Now I'm hanging out with my kids; teaching, speaking, writing, staying fit, living and loving! My wife Susan is following her dream as an artist. My oldest daughter is a singer/actress now living in Nashville and the younger ones are devoted to making me crazy on a daily basis.
This web site is my first step towards finding old friends and sharing the many things I have learned along the way. I have missed all of you and cannot wait to get reacquainted.
